Marketing Supervisor
Weaver is seeking a Marketing Supervisor to oversee the work of the marketing associate team providing oversight for the implementation of marketing calendars and team on projects directed at achieving corporate sales goals and initiatives.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the marketing associates for four brands ensuring the timely and accurate completion of tasks, as well as providing oversight for the planning of quarterly marketing calendars and initiatives.
- Evaluate the marketing activities of each division for effectiveness and make data-based recommendations to improve company marketing efforts
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for Weaver Arborist, Weaver Pet and Weaver Tool Gear.
- Facilitate the creation of marketing promotions for implementation by the National Accounts team.
- Attend or manage meetings as marketing management representative. Manage marketing team meetings in absence of marketing manager.
- Assist in strategic planning process and budgeting process by compiling necessary information to make informed strategic decisions.
- As needed coordinate efforts of outside agencies to achieve marketing goals while remaining on schedule and within budget.
- Facilitate endorsee, affiliate, and influencer relationships for the sales divisions.
- Attend major industry trade shows as is necessary to stay in touch with industry trends, competition, opportunities, and customer feedback.
Our ideal applicant:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
- Experience with online direct to consumer sales and email marketing is preferred.
- The ability to lead and motivate people.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with a high degree of integrity, initiative and creativity.
- Detail oriented, flexible in style and approach, and able to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Able to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work out of our Mt Hope, OH offices.
