Engineer

Weaver is seeking a talented Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you’re a creative problem-solver with a passion for designing and improving production equipment, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing machinery, automation, and new product development.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Play an active role in the design, development, testing, and installation of new equipment.
  • Identify areas for machine improvement and recommend effective solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machinery and automation by suggesting and testing innovative ideas.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting new equipment and machinery.
  • Contribute to new product development efforts.
  • Utilize or be willing to learn 3D CAD software for creating technical drawings.
  • Ensure all new machines meet safety standards and regulations.
  • Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of industrial mechanical equipment.
  • Strong time management and self-discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
