Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A
Weaver is seeking a data-driven finance professional who is looking to make a strategic impact. Join our dynamic team as a Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A, where you will provide financial planning, analysis, and insights to help drive business performance. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior management and various business units to enhance profitability and efficiency.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and inventory analysis.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency by business unit and sales channel, including wholesale, ecommerce, and marketplace platforms.
- Analyze key performance drivers, identify SKU rationalization, and expense management opportunities, and recommend strategies for financial improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Conduct financial performance analysis and develop executive presentations.
- Summarize key financial metrics and trends to support strategic planning.
- Support business units with financial insights to optimize operations and investments.
- Collaborate with accounting, sales, purchasing and operational teams to align financial reporting with business strategy.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
- Lead and participate in special projects aimed at improving financial efficiency, investments, and strategic decision-making.
Our ideal applicant:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle JD Edwards, SAP, NetSuite) and financial reporting tools (Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work out of our Mt Hope, OH office.
