Maintenance Technician

Weaver is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal operation of machinery, equipment and building systems. This role involves troubleshooting issues, conducting repairs and installations as needed to support business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other technical issues. Perform repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Install and test new machinery or equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and that equipment meets safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of repair supplies and equipment. Order new supplies as needed.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and external contractors as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Technical or vocation training with previous experience in a maintenance position
  • Prior experience with various maintenance procedures and systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs safely, climb, work in confined spaces and tolerance for tasks that involve heights.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
