Ecommerce Analyst - Amazon

Weaver is looking for a full-time Ecommerce Analyst for Amazon. In this position you will analyze data, trends, and performance to boost revenue, market share, and profitability on the Amazon platform.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • Utilize data analytics tools to gather and analyze data related to sales, gross margins, inventory, pricing, and customer behavior.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Utilize Jungle Scout tools to conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify growth opportunities by product category.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including revenue, product margin, and market share to assist our leadership team with making data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking to optimize pricing strategies.
  • Develop and recommend strategies to increase sales and market penetration on Amazon.
  • Track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to communicate expected Amazon replenishment and planned promotional/seasonal events.
  • Forecast demand and adjust inventory plans to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns on Amazon.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Leverage Amazon advertising tools to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
  • Monitor customer reviews and feedback to identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Use customer insights to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.

Our ideal applicant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, e-commerce, retail operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and retail industry trends and best practices.

Office-based position but may offer remote or hybrid work options.
