Aug 13, 2013

Mt. Hope, OH – Weaver Leather LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of the RidersRasp® line of innovative hoof care solutions. To expand Weaver Leather’s selection of equine products, the company purchased RidersRasp® from the Cross Tie Equine Company of Greenville, Virginia on July 25, 2013. The product offerings now exclusively available from Weaver Leather include:

Original RidersRasp®
This patented product is the first tool of its kind designed specifically for horse owners to sustain and support hoof balance and soundness. RidersRasp® allows users to safely and effectively round their horse’s hooves to retain and prolong balance between professional trims and improve the overall condition of a horse’s hooves. With an ergonomic design that fits all hands and a soft, no-slip grip to protect the hands, this unique tool with replaceable rasp is made for rounding, not removing, the hoof wall.

RaspNGo
This hoof grooming tool is designed to give horse owners, veterinarians and farriers the utility of a conventional flat rasp in an ergonomic handle held with one hand.

Honey Hooves
Serving a dual purpose to condition and protect, Honey Hooves is formulated in the USA with organic beeswax, Australian Tea Tree Oil and Pine Tar that work together to effectively treat and protect problem areas of the hoof. Application is made easy with a no-mess stick that simply twists up and slides over the desired area.

“J. Tomlinson of Cross Tie Equine Company has utilized his significant farrier experience to invent some fantastic products, and we’re excited to grow our selection of grooming and hoof care items with the addition of the RidersRasp® line,” remarked Chris Weaver, president and CEO of Weaver Leather. “Known for its ease of use, RidersRasp® is a natural fit for us, giving consumers yet another product that helps them solve everyday issues as horse owners.”
